Program Structure

 

If you would like to be a 4th Class Power Engineer you will need to register and successfully complete the following courses;

Part A

4-A1 - PELM 4100

4-A2 - PELM 4200

Part B

B1 - PELM 4300

B2 - PELM 4400

 

Successful completion of this program qualifies students to write the 4th Class Part A & B ABSA Examinations.

If you would like to be a 3rd Class Power Engineer you will need to register and successfully complete the following courses;

Part A

3–A1 - PELM 3100

3-A2 - PELM 3200

Part B

3-B1 - PELM 3300

3-B2 - PELM 3400

To receive a 6 month credit with ABSA for 3rd class you will need to register and successfully complete the above courses.

Theses courses are set up in sections which correspond with the chapters in your textbooks.  At the end of each chapter you are required to complete a quiz.  Following the completion of each section you will write a section test.  After completing each unit, you will be required to write a supervised exam.

You must achieve 80% or better for each chapter quiz, unit quiz, and a minimum of 65% for section tests and exams.
