A long-time resident of Fort McMurray and member of the Mikisew Cree First Nation, Nicole Bourque-Bouchier is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Owner of The Bouchier Group.
She has served on the boards of numerous non-profit organizations such as the Keyano College Foundation, Athabasca University Board of Governors, and is past-president of the Northeastern Alberta Aboriginal Business Association. She currently sits on the Keyano College Board of Governors, and co-chairs the Pacesetting & Leadership Committee for the Northern Lights Health Foundation.
Nicole has been honoured with numerous accolades including the Rotary Club of Fort McMurray Oil Sands Integrity Award; nominated as the 2013 Girls Inc Woman of Inspiration; recipient of the Ernst & Young’s Oil and Gas Entrepreneur of Year Award, awarded the 2015 Alberta Women Entrepreneur’s Celebration of Achievement Award and named Alberta’s 50 Most Influential People in Alberta Venture magazine. More recently, she has been recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women and accepted the MacEwan University 2016 Allard Chair in Business.
