Brent Davis

Over a 25 year career with Finning, Brent Davis has held a variety of roles, ranging from frontline customer service and sales positions to senior management posts.

Brent joined Finning Canada in 1985 in Victoria where he successfully completed his degree in economics from the University of Victoria while working full time as a junior level employee.

Since that time, he has served as parts lead hand at Fort Nelson, product support sales representative at Grande Prairie, general line salesperson at Mackenzie and, for five years, as Syncrude account manager.

In 2003, Brent was named mining industry products and services sales manager. Two years later he was appointed as general manager, coal/base metals with overall Canadian mining marketing responsibilities and leadership of the NWT and Yukon operations.

In 2007, Brent was appointed general manager health and safety for Finning Canada, responsible for leading the safety culture of our Canadian operations. Brent returned to the oilsands in 2009 as the general manager of oilsands operations and in February 2013 he became Vice President of the Oil Sands Region.

Always active in the community, Brent has volunteered in minor hockey and baseball for many years. Brent is a past member of boards and industry organizations including Finning’s representative on the Mining Industry Advisory Counsel at the University of Alberta. Currently, Brent is on the boards of Vista Ridge and the Board of Governors with Keyano College in Fort McMurray.
